Transcendence

“Any great art work … revives and readapts time and space, and the measure of its success is the extent to which it makes you an inhabitant of that world – the extent to which it invites you in and lets you breathe its strange, special air.”   Leanard Bernstein

We saw U2 at Qwest Field in Seattle last night.  It’s one of the coolest experiences I have ever had.  Beyond the lights and thumping bass, the experience took me to a place so rare;  transcendence from the mire.  There is something about 70,000 people being in one place, looking at the same thing, living the exact same moment in unison without regard to past pain or future fears.  It was spiritual in that way.  I don’t even really know how to describe it. So, I’ll not try anymore.  🙂

I took some photos with my point and shoot to remember it by.  Peace.
